Rhonda Rouches

Intake / Support Staff

With more than 20 years in recovery, I have dedicated my life to serving others and giving back to my community. My passion for helping individuals experiencing addiction and homelessness has guided both my career and volunteer work, and seeing others rebuild their lives continues to be one of my greatest rewards.

During my time with The Salvation Army, I completed client intakes, processed documentation, created identification badges, and served as the first point of contact for individuals seeking help. I worked closely with community partners, including the Homeless Outreach Team (HOT), VIPER, and CRP, ensuring clients felt welcomed, supported, and connected to resources.

I also spent four years with Residence Inn, where I trained new employees, supported daily operations, and was trusted to make management decisions when needed. This experience strengthened my leadership, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Helping people has never been just a career—it is my calling. I believe everyone deserves compassion, dignity, and the opportunity to create a better future.

Outside of work, I have been happily married for more than 20 years and am the proud parent of two amazing teenagers. I enjoy spending time with my family, attending church, cheering on my children's sporting events, playing guitar, practicing yoga, and continuing my own journey of personal growth. I believe caring for my mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being allows me to better serve those around me.
