Vickie Seppanen
Administrative Assistant
Vickie brings a dynamic and unique background spanning business operations, human resources, employee benefits, health and wellness, program coordination, advocacy, and community support. Much of her career has been spent working behind the scenes—and alongside internal and external teams—to help organizations successfully deliver programs, solve complex problems, and better serve their clients, employees and communities.
During more than 20 years of professional experience, Vickie has supported public-sector organizations, employees, families, and community partners through some of their most challenging and complex situations. She is well regarded for her contributions to the administration and enhancement of an award-winning, self-funded county health plan, as well as her involvement in innovative benefit and wellness initiatives designed to improve employee wellbeing while helping manage healthcare costs.
Vickie is a passionate advocate, coach, mentor, trainer, and lifelong learner. She has advocated on behalf of individuals navigating complex benefits and claims issues, confidential concerns, sensitive employee relations matters, and difficult life circumstances. She has also helped connect people with healthcare, community, educational, and other resources while encouraging accountability, personal growth, and practical solutions.
She has built her reputation on being someone people can trust with the “hard things.” Vickie believes some of the most meaningful work happens at the intersection of people and organizations—listening first, building relationships, understanding what is really needed, solving problems, and making complicated processes easier to navigate.
A staunch advocate for accessible healthcare, supportive communities, affordable housing, and equitable opportunities for education, training, and personal growth, Vickie remains committed to using her experience in ways that create meaningful value for both the people being served and the organizations doing the serving.
She is energized by opportunities to make a difference, bring people and resources together, and continue learning from current thought leadership and the experiences of the people and communities around her.
